LIFE INSURANCE

What is life insurance? The best way to answer that is to think about who depends on you, and for what. Your family may count on you for such things as house payments, education expenses, and a certain lifestyle. The right amount of life insurance (term life insurance, universal life insurance, whole life insurance, or a combination) depends on the person. Whether single or with family, life insurance can help guarantee all these things for you and your family in the event of your untimely death.

DEPENDENT LIFE INSURANCE

Dependent Life Insurance is similar to Term Life insurance and provides insurance for an unexpected death. Dependent Life insurance provides coverage for the dependent, either a spouse or a child.

ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT (AD&D)

Accidental Death and Dismemberment, or AD&D, covers death by means other than natural causes. Accidents that cause death or dismemberment include loss of the use of certain body parts (including limbs or eyesight).

SHORT-TERM DISABILITY

How long could you go without a paycheck? What if you miss work due to an injury or illness that occurred away from work? Chances are accidents and illnesses will happen off the job. Worker’s compensation insurance only covers you on the job. Short-term disability insurance is “paycheck insurance” that covers you for while you are not at work. STD insurance can help replace a portion of your lost wages while you recover. It typically replaces 60% of your income up to three or six months.

LONG-TERM DISABILITY

Your employer pays you while you’re working; LTD Insurance pays you while you’re not working due to a covered accident, sickness, illness, or injury. You decide how benefits are used—food, utilities, car payments, or even a night at the movies—just as you would your regular paycheck. Benefits continue for a specific period of time or until you are no longer disabled.

WORKSITE BENEFIT SOLUTIONS
